  15. Does anyone know of any compatibility problems between GVP
  16. SCSI A4008 board and a Cyberstorm 060 board?

  18. I've just got a 1Gig SCSI drive, which I can't prep. If
  19. I remove the Cyberstorm, I can prep the drive OK, and install
  20. Workbench. Then if I replace the Cyberstorm, it boots OK.
  21. However, I get checksum errors if I try to write to the drive, 
  22. then after a few attempts, the partition seems to dissapear.
  23. If I try HDTools, I can reset the partitions, but nothing
  24. happens when I write to the drive. (Then partion info is lost).

  26. My SCSI CD-ROM seems to work fine with the board.

  28. ( The guy I bought the GVP SCSI from forgot to include the
  29. disk with GVP's Fast Prep, so I'm using HDToolbox, with the
  30. device set to gvpscsi.device [v4.13] - Maybe I'll have more luck
  31. with fast prep. ?  )

  34. Also, can anyone suggets what to do about termination? I've got
  35. the Hard Drive, and CD-ROM; neither of these has terminating
  36. resitors, (and no place to put them). Obviously the cable should
  37. be terminated somehow. Can you get a terminator to attach to 
  38. the cable instead, similar to what you'd use for a external
  39. cable ??

  41. (Ps. I don't think this has anything to do with the problem above,
  42. as I've used a 4" cable, with only the hard drive attached, and
  43. the doc's say that in this case, I should not use a terminator)
